It comes just weeks after a toddler was injured in an attack in the same location after wandering from his family’s vacation home at night.

The Fraser Coast Chronicle may reveal the latest incident when two boys, ages four and five, were approached by a dingo on Saturday near a car parked outside a house on Orchid Beach.

According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Environment and Science, the dingo sniffed at the five-year-old boy and the children ran towards the house.

The boy received two small red spots and a light willow, but did not need medical treatment .

The parents chased the dingo into the bush and it growled at them and didn’t want to leave the area, the spokesman said.

Fear is growing that the dingo pack on Orchid Beach has gotten used to the animals thanks to the animals’ interaction and feeding.

The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service has reminded visitors and residents of the island Keep children under constant supervision after interaction on Saturday.

In an earlier incident on April 17th, a two-year-old boy wandered out of a vacation home on Orchid Beach in the early hours of the morning before being attacked by a dingo.

He had to be flown off the island after being bitten head, neck and body.

It is recommended that residents and visitors to the island, especially the Orchid Beach area, that a dingo package address people to eat.

It is believed that the dingo -Package has been accidentally or intentionally fed by residents and visitors and has lost its natural caution towards people.

People are reminded to be dingo-safe and not to feed or interact with dingoes as this will become their habit and cause them to become aggressive in foraging for food.

People are encouraged to remain vigilant and report negative Qingo encounters to a QPWS ranger, or call 07 4127 9150 or w ie it is possible to send an email to [email protected]
