Patrick Mekari replaced Matt Skura as the starting center on Sunday, while Ben Powers became the new starter on the right. D.. . J. . Fluker returned as a starting player after being fielded against the New England Patriots while playing against Orlando Brown Jr. . and guard Bradley Bozeman stayed the starter on the left.

It was the fifth different starting offensive line combination that Baltimore has used this season, and Bozeman is the only week one starter who is still in the same position. But it wasn’t a surprise.

Skura struggled to accurately play the football against the Indianapolis Colts and Patriots for the weeks that followed, resulting in negative games. Mekari already has experience as a starting center and replaced Skura last season after suffering a knee injury at the end of the season in Week 12. Mekari’s versatility has been a valuable asset this season. He started three games on the right side and took over the right tackle for Fluker against the Patriots.

Powers started his career with Right Guard, with rookie Right Guard Tire Phillips (ankle) missing his third game in the injured reserve.

This has been a challenging season for the Ravens offensive line from the start after perennial right Pro Bowl security guard Marshal Yanda retired. Things got tougher for the Ravens after All-Pro sustained an ankle injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers against Ronnie Stanley at the end of the season. Skura saw action as an added blocker early in the game, but the Ravens hoped this new offensive line combo would click.

The Ravens signed Fluker for Will Holden in the second quarter, so mixing continued.
