Sebastian Korda, the 20-year-old son of the former Australian Open champion Petr Korda, will aim for a first Tour title.

The fourth Hubert Hurkacz finished Christian Harrison’s Cinderella run at the ATP Delray Beach Open on Tuesday and booked a final showdown with the American Sebastian Korda.

The Pole Hurkacz defeated Harrison 7: 6 (7th place) : 4) and 6: 4, while Korda, a former junior world champion, reached his first ATP Tour final with a 6: 3, 7: 5 semi-final win against the Briton Cameron Norrie.

« I’m very happy to win that game today, « said 23-year-old Hurkacz, who is 35th in the world. « I mean, Christian played pretty great throughout the tournament.

 » He qualified here and had his best results on the ATP Tour. Especially after all that he’s been through, all of the surgeries, it’s really great for him. He played a really great match. « 

Harrison, ranked 789 in the world, overthrew Chilean top seed Cristian Garin to reach the quarter-finals.

He recovered from an early break in the second set – the first break of the game – but Hurkacz broke it again to regain the advantage and ended the game.

Against Norrie, Korda served 5: 4 for the match in the second set, but left two match points begging – one with a double fault.

Two games later there was no mistake when he won one Hour and 22 minutes ended.

« I’m cheered right now, I couldn’t be happier, » said Korda, ranked 119th in the world – 45 places below Norrie.

Punishment would only be decided after a full hearing. The ITF said Yastremska had a right to appeal but had not yet done so.
