Here’s some good news: John Krasinski is set to make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut – and he’s not the only first-time visitor for the month ahead.

Krasinski, who originally hosted SNL last season was intended before the coronavirus pandemic forced the late night sketch series to cease production, the first episode of 2021 will rule on Saturday January 30th from musical guest Machine Gun Kelly.

On The following weekend, February 6th, Dan Levy of Schitt’s Creek will make his Studio 8H debut, accompanied by musical guest Phoebe Bridgers.

According to NBC, the January 30th episode will be the first of five new episodes in a row be. Hosts and musical guests for February 20th and 27th will be announced at a later date.

The return from SNL will be 10 days after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inauguration on January 20th. The president and vice-president are currently led by Alex Moffat (who replaced Jim Carrey as then-elected President Biden during the Cold Open on December 19) and SNL vet Maya Rudolph (who has posed as Harris for the past two seasons)

Alec Baldwin, who played former President Donald Trump for his entire first (and only) term in office, retired after SNL paid the installment on November 8th.

Saturday Night Live returned on November 3rd. October back to its 46th season. Past hosts have included Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Issa Rae, Adele, John Mulaney, Dave Chappelle, Jason Bateman, Timothée Chalamet and Kristen Wiig.
