According to TVLine, the new spin-off of the « NCIS » franchise titled « NCIS: Hawaii » will have the first female protagonist in production history.
The character will supposedly be named Jane Tennant and also the first special agent one NCIS teams act.
Don’t forget that Mark Harmon stars in « NCIS », Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J in « NCIS: Los Angeles » and Scott Bakula in « NCIS: New Orleans ».
The franchise production closest to a female protagonist was « NCIS: Red », which featured Kim Raver and John Corbett as co-protagonists.
